Ikorodu City FC, founded in January 2022, serves as a community-based club in the Ikorodu region of Lagos State. Their mission extends beyond football, aiming to find, nurture, and groom local talents for the greater benefit of Nigeria. The club emerged from the rebirth of Bolowotan Football Club (BFC), which dates back to 2007.

Brief History:

Bolowotan FC, the predecessor, gained promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL) but faced funding challenges, eventually passing their slot to MFM FC, who later reached the top-flight Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Ikorodu City FC assembled some of Lagos’ finest players and entered the NNL in the 2021/2022 season, where they have consistently competed for two consecutive seasons.
