Bendel Insurance Football Club is a Nigerian professional football club based in Benin City, Edo State. Often referred to as the Benin Arsenal, the club is one of the oldest and most historic in Nigerian football. Founded in 1972, Insurance was among the inaugural members of the Nigerian Premier League.

Known for producing top-tier talents and playing an attractive brand of football, Bendel Insurance enjoyed a golden era in the 1970s and early 1980s. However, like many Nigerian clubs, the club faced challenges in subsequent decades, experiencing periods of decline and resurgence.
