History
El Gouna FC’s journey began in the Egyptian Fourth Division during the 2003–04 season, where they achieved their first title and secured promotion to the Egyptian Third Division. In the following season (2004–05), they accomplished the same feat, advancing to the Egyptian Second Division. The club’s historic moment came in the 2008–09 season when they earned promotion to the Egyptian Premier League for the first time. Since then, El Gouna has played in the top flight, with the 2014–15 season being their most recent appearance. In the 2022–23 season, El Gouna secured promotion back to the Premier Division after one season in the second tier 1.
