South African football authorities absolves FIFA world cup bound coach of alleged “racist” and “sexist “ remarks

The South African Football Federation, SAFA has dismissed the allegations of racism been levied against the head coach of the Bafana Bafana, Hugo Broos .
SAFA described as misconceptions the remarks trailing the recent outburst by coach Hugo Broos , accusing of been making racist and sexist remarks
It is reported that the coach had lamented over the moves by some of the national team players to proceed abroad in search for greener pasture, describing their intentions as premature .
The coach made the comments , during an press conference ahead of the team’s preparations for the AFCON, resulting to massive public criticism .
The coach reacting to the allegations been levied against him said “It is unfortunate that my strong rebuke of the player’s conduct and subsequent comments were misinterpreted as racism and sexism. I distance myself from any accusation of racism and sexism,” said Broos. “It is mind-boggling that the coach would be described in such a manner towards a player he has consistently supported since selecting him for the first time a few months ago,” the Association said.
The Association exonerated the coach of any wrong doing, while hailing his contributions towards the reforms and development strides recorded in the development and promotion of the game of soccer in South African space in recent times.
