Asante Kotoko’s journey began in 1935 when a group of 13 young Ashanti men, led by Mr. Kwasi Kumah, laid the foundation for the club. Over the years, they transformed from Kumasi Titanics to Mighty Atoms before adopting the name Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club. The Asantehene, Nana Sir Osei Agyeman Prempeh II, became the first life patron of the club. Asante Kotoko has since become a symbol of determination and excellence in Ghanaian football².
