History

Al-Qadsiah has been a regular participant in the Saudi Premier League since its inception in the inaugural 1976-77 season. Their most successful period came in the early 90s when they won the 1991-92 Crown Prince Cup and the 1993-94 Asian Cup Winners’ Cup. Despite relegation in the 1996-97 season, they have consistently yo-yoed between divisions, aiming for promotion to the top flight ².
