Nigeria’s Super Eagles squad ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco has grown to 26 players with the arrival of winger Samuel Chukwueze on Tuesday.
The team officially opened camp on Sunday at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo, Egypt, kicking off final preparations for the continental tournament.
Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, and Amas Obasogie are in camp, alongside defenders and midfielders who reported earlier and have been actively participating in training sessions.
The attacking line-up is also shaping up, with Ademola Lookman, Paul Onuachu, Cyril Dessers, and Akor Adams already present, creating healthy competition for spots in the final squad.
Striker Victor Osimhen and winger Moses Simon are still expected to join after completing their club duties.
The team’s schedule for Wednesday includes a gym session at 11 a.m. followed by an evening training session at 5 p.m., as preparations intensify ahead of the tournament.
