National inter deaf secondary schools football championship 2024 , SESS Tudun Maliki set  to storm Nassarawa

The Special Education Secondary school Tudun Maliki, Kano would storm Nassarawa state  to trade tackles in  the 6th edition of the National  deaf secondary schools football championship tagged:”A A. Sule Cup 2024.

The championship is staged by the Nigeria Deaf Football Association, NDFA.

The aim of the championship is to promote inclusivity, tool for empowerment and talent development among deaf students from across the country, the organizers said .

The Secretary General of the Association, Mr. Nehemiah Daret, in a statement signed, made available to sports journalists  said the championship would be staged  from December 5th to 15, 2024 at  the Lafia township stadium, Nasarawa state.

He further stated that , the championship would be declared open by Nassarawa state governor,  Abdullahi A. Sule.

Speaking on the championship , Director of sports , Kano state ministry of education Malam Ibrahim Bello, who confirmed that the Kano state would be on parade at  the  championship, said the platform will ginger  deaf football students from  the ancient city  to showcase their talent.

Bello revealed said that , players from  Special Education Secondary School Tudun Maliki, Kano have commenced open camping exercise in preparations for the championship.

Bello had applauded  Kano  state government,  under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the state Commissioner of education, Umar  Haruna Doguwa for their support.

He assured that the players, who he said are in high spirit would storm Lafia township stadium, boasting that the stakes are high that the lads from Kano would be crowned as champions at the end .
