Rwanda set to host 2025 World Cycling championship, 5000 cyclists set for action
Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali is on the verge of making history as the first African country to host the 2025 UCI Road World Championships.
The 2025 UCI Road World Championships would take place from September 21 to September 28, 2025.
The championship is anticipated would be historic as Rwanda would become the first African country to host the Road World Championships.
5,000 cyclists and 20,000 delegates are expected to converge on the city for the event, from September 21 to September 28.
It is predicted that the 2025 championship is going to be one of the hardest editions ever with 5,475m of climbing.
