Nigeria’s inter schools U-15 boys football competition kicks off, October 24, Team Kano set to do battle
Nigeria School Sports Federation, NSSF U-15 national football; competition will kick on October 24 in FCT Abuja.
The final match of the competition will be played on November 1. Sahel Sports News reports .
The president of the federation, Olabisi Joseph has cautioned that the organizers would adopt zero tolerance over acts that contravenes the rules guiding the competition.
He further warned the participating schools to shun the attempt to field ineligible players, specifically warning against the fielding of over aged players.
Meanwhile, Kano U-15 boys from Kano Government College are in top gear to hit the road to FCT Abuja to feature in the tournament
Speaking on the level of preparations by the Kano lads, the head of school sports, Kano state ministry of education, Ibrahim Bello said preparations for the championship had commenced.
He boasted that Kano state would excel in the tournament ,adding that the boys had already engage in vigorous training sessions ahead of the kick off.
Bello then assured that with the level of dedication and courage shown by the boys, Team Kano would be the team to beat, when the competition kicks off, as scheduled.
