Ghana Football Association, GFA has expressed its disappointment over the poor performance by The Black Stars in the ongoing Afcon 2025 qualifying group matches played thus far.
The president of the association, Kurt Okraku, in a video that went viral on social media , while addressing the players on the state of their campaign to fly Ghana’s flag at the 2025 Afcon in Morocco asserted an upright rejection of their performance.
He told the players that, Ghanaians were unhappy with their show of lack of patriotism to national duty and lack of spirited commitment in their call to duty by mother land .
Kurt told the players bluntly that they should either brace up to the challenge of quit from serving the national team .
He further told the players that they lack passion, fighting spirit and have failed to show superiority in their outings against minnows like Niger republic and South Sudan.
He lamented that Ghanaians were in desperate need of victory to heal their souls and bring smiles to the faces of millions of Ghanaian families.
He however imagined how Black Stars players smile and hugged themselves , after putting up a poor display, warning that this would no longer be accepted as a norm in the national squad of Ghana.
The Black Stars had fell to Angola 1-0, played draw against Niger and Sudan to stand on two points from three matches.
