Kano: 150 Nigerian football coaches concludes  two days hybrid training course

A two days hybrid capacity building seminar  for Nigerian football coaches organized by the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, NFCA Kano state chapter has ended.

150 football coaches from all  nooks and crannies of Nigeria took part in the event held from 17th to 18th August 2024 at Bayero University Kano. BUK.

The chairman NFCA Kano, Ibrahim Gwadabe . Esq said the coaches were tutored on the rigors of modern day football coaching.

“how to plan and conduct training sessions, football marketing, scouting, the role of the media in football, legal implications and football coaching strategy.”

Our correspondent reports that the course is symbolic in the history of Kano football development strata, adding that the turn out is record breaking .

The resource persons includes, former Super Eagles of Nigeria’s tactician, Salisu Yusuf, former Eyimba, Rangers Intl of Enugu, Kano Pillars and Akwa United coach, Abdul Maikaba.

Others are  the current gaffer of  NPFL side, Kano Pillars FC , Usman Abdallah, Dr. Nura Garba, BUK, Abdulgafar Oladimeji, IPSO certified football  scout.
