FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup , Colombia 2024  : Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana  battle ready, As Morocco faces  defending champions Spain in  the group of death

Africa’s   representative at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup are gearing up for actions  in host cities across the host country, Colombia.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Colombia 2024 takes place from 31 August to 22 September

Spain are the defending champions after their success at Costa Rica 2022

For the 2024 edition, the tournament  has grown  from 16 to 24 teams following the decision of the FIFA Council  to expand the number of participants.

Cameroon will be on parade in group A against host Colombia, Mexico and Australia.

Morocco will do battle in Group C against defending champions, Spain, USA, Paraguay.

Nigeria in Group D  will confront their foes,  Germany, Venezuela, Korea Republic.

Ghana will trade tackles against New Zealand, Japan, and Austria in E.

The Princesses of Ghana as they are popularly called are reported to have arrived the host country ahead of the August 31st  official  kick off  date of the tournament.
