Gambian football coaches kicks-off one week national convention
The Gambia Football Coaches Association (GFCA) in collaboration with The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has commenced the national coaching convention for its members.
The inaugural convention holding at the National Technical Training Center in Old Yundum features 42 coaches.
GFF President Mr. Lamin Kaba Bajo in his inaugural remarks expressed delight in inaugurating the maiden convention, he said “ I salute and commend the courage of the GFCA for venturing into this important national event. The Federation welcomes it and henceforth will embed it in the GFF activities annually to grow from strength to strength,”.
Bajo further applaud the achievements of the coaches at home and international levels, highlighting the successes of the CARMS strategic initiative.
He assured the august body of maximum support from GFF , emphasizing on the essence of collaboration between both stakeholders.
He stressed on the crucial role been played by coaches in football development.
He disclosed that efforts by the federation to provide CAF A and B License courses for Gambian Coaches .
The President, GFCA, Kebba ‘Jesper’ Touray thanked GFF for its support and collaboration toward the development of Gambian football coaches.
