Spanish footballer, Jesus de Miguel dies, after match collision with goalkeeper
CD Tenerife forward and Spanish footballer Jesús de Miguel has died at the age of 30 following an on-pitch collision during a Segunda División match.

The Incident occurred during a match against FC Andorra in the closing minutes of stoppage time, de Miguel collided near midfield with onrushing Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono.
Reports said , De Miguel suffered a cardiac arrest following the heavy impact to his chest. He received emergency treatment on the pitch and was rushed to the Hospital Universitario de Nuestra Señora de Candelaria in Santa Cruz, where his neurological condition worsened before he passed away.
