CAF record’s historic 3.2 billion Afcon views , calls for new tenders
Africa’s football governing body, Confederation of African Football, CAF has disclosed that the 2025 edition of Africa’s most prestigious football fiesta had generated 95% increase in its revenue generation.
CAF further disclosed that the scale and commercial potential of the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON continues to grow. Saying the 2025 edition in Morocco generated more than 3.2 billion TV audience views and 6 billion digital views, alongside 285 million digital engagements. The tournament also delivered a 95% increase in commercial revenues, with a record 23 sponsorship partners.

Historic tournament will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 will be staged in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June to 17 July 2027 and will be the first continental finals in history to be jointly hosted by three countries.
Twenty-four of Africa’s leading national teams will compete for the continental title during a month-long celebration of African football that will provide an unprecedented opportunity to showcase East Africa to the world.
CAF is encouraging the widest possible participation from suitably qualified African and global companies as it seeks world-class expertise, innovation and operational excellence across all areas of delivery.
