Calabar Carnival, Sports Co Sponsors, Moses Andsihu Foundation applauds the introduction of sports events

Moses Andishu Foundation has marched forward in its support for grass root sports development in Nigeria through the offering of co sponsorship for the sports events held at the 2024 edition of the annual Calabar Carnival.
The founder of the foundation, Moses Ted Andishu commend the organizers of the yuletide fiesta over what he described as the handsome decision to henceforth have sports been featured at the event.
Speaking on the motive behind the co sponsorship of the sports segment of the fiesta , MAF Nigeria’s honcho, Joseph Andishu said the sponsorship is amongst the series of support been offered towards developing the sports industry in Nigeria.
He said the foundation takes serious the issues bordering on sports development, adding that the introduction of sports into the outline of events at the carnival aligns with the vision and mission of MAF towards sports growth at the grass root levels.
He added that the introduction of sports onto the list of events at the largest street party in Africa would fasten the objective to make the event the premier hub of annual hospitality events in Africa.
This year’s inaugural sports activities held at the carnival includes, football, swimming, athletics, boxing, bike riding amongst others.
Our checks revealed that, the Calabar Carnival is an annual carnival held in Cross River State, Nigeria, which holds every December .
