CAFCC : Eyimba loses key players to injury
History makers, Eyimba football club of Aba would be without the services of major key players, as they file out against visitors Black Bulls of Mozambique , in the CAF Confederation cup group match, Sunday evening at the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo.
The newly contracted gaffer of the club, Stanley Eguma in a podcast shared on major sports play forms confirmed that the club is faced with injury worries.
He said most of the key players on the payroll of the two times back to back African club side champions would not be available for duty against Black Bulls.
Eguma express worries over the failure by some of the key players to return from injuries describing it as “my problem.”
He however expressed hopes that the Peoples Elephant will emerge triumphant in their CAFCC campaign , Sunday evening in Uyo.
He claimed to have acquired depth knowledge of how their visitors would play against his side, saying “ they play robust football, they attack from the flanks , but they also know Eyimba is a big team in Africa.
Eguma counting on the experience of newly signed Brown Ideye, said the globe trotting Super Eagles forward would bring an added advantage, when his lads file out against the Mozambicans
