NPFL: Lobi Stars sack Dominic Iorfa, appoints new management
Benue state government the owners of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL top campaigners, Lobi Stars has exit the Dominic Iorfa led management of the club.
The state government in an official statement issued Saturday night confirmed the immediate removal of the club CEO, Nigeria’s ex-international, Mr Dominic Iorfa.
The statement issued said “The executive governor of Benue state, his Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia
has directed that with immediate effect, the Lobi Stars FC be under Benue Sports Council.
“A new Board of Lobi Stars FC has also been constituted. The membership includes: Dr. Philip Nongu – Chairman ,Dr. Iorngulum Malu – Secretary ,Chief Solomon Andiir – Member , Mr. Harry Yachi – Member , Mr. Francis Ejiga – Member ,Sir James Iorpuu – Govt. Reps
The statement further said “The governor has directed that All Management handover must be completed before midnight today, Saturday 7/9/2024.”
