The Angola national football team, nicknamed “Palancas Negras” (Black Sable Antelopes), is an African team known for their historic qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Although they have yet to replicate that success, they remain a competitive force in African football and have made several appearances in the Africa Cup of Nations.
