CAF President Patrice Motsepe meets Kenyan Head of State, William Ruto in Nairobi , discusses TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2027 preparations
The President of Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) Dr Patrice Motsepe held a successful meeting with Kenya Head of State His Excellency Dr William Ruto in Nairobi, Kenya as they discussed preparations for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2027.
President Ruto thanked Dr Motsepe for his commitment to African football and assured the CAF President of Kenya’s determination to make the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 a major success.
The CAF President thanked President Ruto for his support and discussed several matters relating to the preparations for the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON.
During his visit to Kenya, Dr Motsepe visited the newly-built Talanta Sports International Stadium and was impressed with the progress made.
He also visited Kasarani Stadium and gave feedback on the work that still needs to be done ahead of the Competition.
The delegation included CAF acting General Secretary Samson Adamu, CECAFA President Paulos Weldehaimanot Andemariam, Kenya’s Minister of Sport Hon Salim Mvurya and FKF President Hussein Mohammed.
