Volleyball: Nigeria set to parade Japanese Coach Ryan Masajedi as New National Team Head Coach
Aside last minutes changes, Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has concluded plans to parade Japanese coach Ryan Masajedi to serve as head coach of Nigeria’s national volleyball teams.
The federation in statement issued on Monday, signed by chairman NVBF media and publicity committee, Godspower Odedede disclosed that the ceremony will be held “on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, at the Indoor Sports Hall, Package B, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
He further said “ Coach Ryan Masajedi is expected to bring Japanese coaching philosophy, technical discipline, tactical innovation, and international experience to Nigerian volleyball. His appointment reflects the federation’s commitment to building a strong technical foundation for sustained success and preparing the national teams for major international competitions, including the upcoming African Nations Cup.
