Special Olympics begins crowd funding campaign to support special athletes
The Special Olympics has launched the campaign seeking for 100 new monthly donors to provide resources for the support of its athletes.
The campaign is out to attract donors to donating $15 a month to help more athletes compete.
The campaign message is tagged “THEY’RE READY TO PROVE EVERYONE WRONG.”

“For every Special Olympics athlete who gets to lace up and compete, 13 more are standing on the sidelines, waiting for the resources to get them in the game.
“We set out to change that by asking 100 new monthly donors to give an athlete their first practice, their first teammate, their first “you belong here.” This is where you stand right now:
“Somewhere out there, an athlete is ready to prove everyone wrong. All they need is a chance to say: Watch me. Let’s do this!”
