Again, South Africa stops Nigeria from FIFA women’ s world 2027 in Brazil

South Africa senior national teams have proven superiority over Nigerian in the seeking for the ticket to compete at the global football biggest stage in the men’s and women’s FIFA World Cup.
The Bafana Bafana as the South African men’s national team is fondly called topped the group , where they were paired with their Nigerian men counterpart , they defy all hurdles to deny the Super Eagles the chance to be on parade at the recently concluded FIFA men’s world cup , which was jointly hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico.
Last Thursday the South African women’s national team, Banyana Banyana also beat the Super Falcons of Nigeria 2-1 to deny the Nigerian women the chance to proceed to the FIFA world cup intercontinental playoff.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria had crashed out of WAFCON quarter final to settle for playoff against the South African ladies, in the continental play-in match held at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, last Thursday night.
The Nigerian women who are an all 10-time WAFCON champions will not be on parade at the 2027 World Cup slated for next year in Brazil.
