The composition of the first-round groups was determined at the draw, which took place in Łódź on Friday, 15 May.

The full match schedule was announced on Friday, 15 May 2026, following the draw. The opening match will take place in Katowice on 5 September and will see hosts Poland face Argentina. The final will be held in Łódź on 27 September.
