Egypt to host Qualifiers draws of the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 next Tuesday, Ekong, Hadary, Mputu to attend
The draws for the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 will be hosted by the Egyptian Football Association next Tuesday, in the capital city, Cairo.
Africa’s football governing body said that the Draw for Qualification competition ahead of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) PAMOJA 2027 will be held at the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) Headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, where the 48 competing teams will learn their group opponents.
Four African Legends will be on hand to assist with the ceremony: Cote d’Ivoire’s Max Alain Gradel, William Troost-Ekong from Nigeria, Egypt’s Essam El Hadary and Tresor Mputu from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The 24-team TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 Finals will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and will be staged from 19 June – 17 July 2027.
