Nigeria’s Para-Badminton Team Departs to Bahrain for World Championship
Nigeria’s Para Badminton athletes have departed to Bahrain to compete in the World Championship.
The Nigerian contingent is led by World number two SL3 para-badminton player and Paralympic bronze medallst, Eniola Bolaji.
The athletes contingent from Nigeria comprises of two other athletes.
The Para-Badminton World Championship in Bahrain, scheduled to take place from February 8 to 14.
Bolaji at the Egypt International Championship in early January, staged a display that sustained her position amongst world’s top para-badminton players.
Paralympian Chigozie Jeremiah would feature in the men’s SL4 category, Chinyere Okoro would be on parade in the women’s SL4 event.
