Michael Emetomor Obi foundation donates football kits to Ibrede grammar school

In moves to boost grass root sports development in communities, Michael Emetomor Obi has donated football equipment’s to Ibrede Grammar school.
Our correspondent reports that , the students, during the presentation sang songs of joy as they received sets of football equipment’s .
The representative of the Michael Emetomor Obi Foundation, Justina Ishaka , at the ceremony , said the gesture is to fulfill the promise made by an alumni of the school, Pastor Odemaro Samuel Obi.
Ishaka urged the students to be of good behavior , further pleading with them to be good ambassadors of the school in years to come , in emulation of pastor Samuel O. Obi.
Receiving the equipment’s on the behalf of the school, , the school principal , pastor Augustine Ogbo thanked MEO Foundation for the noble gesture.
He task the students to uphold the legacies laid by Pastor Sam Obi , during his days at Ibrede Grammar school , saying that self discipline and focus as a student has catapult Obi to the status of an mentor .
He appealed that the gesture should inspire the student to be ready to work hard so as to be equipped to be able to give back to their almer Mata in the future .
In his remarks the school’s games master, Obi Kester said for the first time since his arrival at Ibrede Grammar school, they would now have football jerseys to cater for their home and away matches , he then prayed that God will continue to shower his blessings and protection, on the donors.
