BUA’s cash donation to Super Eagles: Kano grassroot football is dying, Intertech football academy sends SoS
The honcho of Intertech football academy has reacted to the gesture by business mogul , Abdulsamad Isiyaku Rabiu to the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles .
The president of the academy, Suleiman Musa described the gesture as commendable , he however quickly pointed out that, there is the need to direct similar gestures to grass root football club development projects .
In his words “The recent donation by BUA Group to the Super Eagles is a commendable and strategic gesture that significantly boosts player morale and reinforces confidence ahead of national assignments.
“Such corporate support plays a vital role in motivating athletes and strengthening the overall football ecosystem.
“In the same spirit, we respectfully call on Abdul Samad Isyaku Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group, to kindly consider extending similar support to ailing football clubs and grassroots football activities in Kano.
“Revitalising club football in Kano will not only preserve the state’s rich football heritage, but also contribute meaningfully to youth development, talent discovery, and long-term national football growth.
He said “strategic intervention at the club and grassroots levels will create sustainable pathways for talent development and ensure that football continues to serve as a unifying and empowering force for our youth and communities.”
