Morocco 2025: Winner of Africa Cup of Nations to pocket 10 Million US Dollars

The winner of the Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations, AFCON will cart away the sum of 10 million US dollars as prize money, Confederation of African football , CAF has averred.
The President of Africa’s football governing body, t Dr Patrice Motsepe announced the 43% increase in Prize Money for winner of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations .
The announcement was made last Saturday following a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee (EXCO) in Rabat, Morocco, a day before the kick-off of the tournament.
The Prize Money for the winner represents a 43% increase from the 2023 edition, when hosts Cote d’Ivoire pocketed USD 7 million.
