Kano FA Task Sabon -Gari Football Management On Grass Root Development

The Chairman , Kano state Football Association, KSFA, Sherif Rabiu Inuwa has urged Sabon Gari Football Management, SGFM to sustain the momentum in the football development strides being recorded in the area.
The Kano FA boss, testified that SGFM has made tremendous progress in the promotion of the game of football in Sabon Gari and its environ.
Inuwa in his remarks while declaring open , the fourth Annual General Meeting, AGM of the management held at Igwe Palace, New Road Kano, applaud the efforts of the management in promoting the game of football in the state.
The FA honcho represented by the state FA board member, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa said that, SGFM has injected sanity into the promotion of the game in the area.
He said “first, we need to commend the dedication and commitment of the management, most importantly is the consistency in maintaining your football calendar, which is cardinal to the promotion and development of the game.
He further said “football calendar plays a pivotal role in football, development and its promotion , Sabon Gari Football Management has sustained its calendar , this is commendable .
“your management has engaged the youths through the mass number of competitions taking place in Sabon Gari jurisdiction, the involvement of sponsors and the large number of football fans engaged in your programmes is a testimony to your hard work and success, your success is enviable .
“I want to appeal to all of you to support the management to achieve more, Mr Mike Anike is the leader of football t management and Kano FA has no other representative more than Mr Mike Anike, he has the full support of the state FA .
“Leadership is from God, Mr Mike over the years has sacrificed for the development of the game in your area, he has done well and we must support him , we complement him.”
He warned that the lingering subtle football crisis in Sabon Gari should be brought to an end, to avoid the likely consequences that are attendant to such crisis, urging the Mike Anike led management to embrace all aggrieved factions .
He warned those behind what he described as the deliberate stirring of crisis to distract football development in the area, to henceforth desist from such acts, further warning that the state FA would no longer hesitate to wield the axe against any individual or group that are bent in violating the state football statues.
Earlier in his address , the chairman, Sabon Gari Football Management, SGFM , Mr Mike Anike stated that SGFM under his leadership has recorded immense successes in the axis of football followership, sponsorship and the hosting of well governed structured grass root football competitions.
According to him the management is committed to surmounting some of the challenges confronting the development of the game in the SGFM domain, he said the major task remains how to uphold the credibility of Sabon Gari Football calendar, appealing to organizers to comply with the approved start and end dates of their competitions in line with the ethics of football governance .
He further stated that, in the forth coming 2025/2026 SGFM calendar the management would strive to invest capital and human resources in the areas of the development of coaching and refereeing .
He added that strategic partnership deals would also be sealed with the media to enhance visibility and also attract more investors and attention from across all football stables.
