FIFA World Cup : US to generate USD 30 Billion from hosting the world cup in 2026

Estimates show that the United States of America, USA would generate the projected sum of USD 30.5 billion from the hosting of the FIFA world cup 2026.
The US will stage parts of the largest FIFA world cup games along with Canada and Mexico as co host nations.
According to the World Trade Organization, WTO, socioeconomic analysis shows that hosting the biggest football fiesta would help to create 185,000 full time jobs, add the value worth USD 30.5 billion in gross output and USD 17.2 billion to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
At the FIFA world cup 2026, 78 matches will be hosted across 11 cities, three cities in Mexico would host .
