D:Day: FIFA World Cup Final Draw to Hold Amidst Tight Security, Heads of US, Canada , Mexican Govt’s to attend

The final draw of the FIFA World Cup 2026 would today Friday be held at the JF Kennedy Centre in Washington, under tight security, our correspondent reports.
The eye of millions of football followers from across the globe would be glued to seeing the outcome of the final draw, which is expected to take place , 12 Pm EST . 6pm WAT.
Our correspondent who visited the host venue reports that , from Thursday noon, the Kennedy Centre has taken a new graceful outlook in anticipation to host one of the greatest moments in the history of the largest football fiesta.
The once free for all main entrance gate into the Centre has been taken over by armed security operatives, eagle eye security operatives have also been stationed at strategic locations to scrutinize movements and ensure hitch free flow of human and vehicular activities and strict compliance with FIFA regulations .
The security operatives also scrutinize visitors to ensure only FIFA accredited persons gained access to the interior parts of the Centre.
Newly installed metal detectors, and other security devices have been mounted on the main entrance to the venue of the draw.
The atmosphere remain friendly, the operatives adopt civil approach methods , sports journalists continue to swarm around the Centre , while conducting their professional assignments.
FIFA officials discharging diverse functions were sighted at several parts of the Centre , while indulged in functions such as distributing FIFA gift cards and others issuing out accreditation cards.
The interior of the Kennedy Centre now parades carve out that would host various categories of guests that are expected to grace the final draw of the largest FIFA world cup ever in history .
The venue wears total new look with FIFA branded manual and electronic boards and various FIFA customized signages
The outer and interior parts of the Kennedy Centre has evidently underwent maintenance to wear its new look for the grand event.
FIFA says “the heads of government from the three FIFA World Cup 2026 host countries Canada, Mexico and the United States will come together in Washington DC “
According to the football world governing body, “Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney, President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum and President of the United States Donald J. Trump have confirmed their attendance at this landmark event, where the world will discover the composition of the 12 groups of four for the first ever 48-team FIFA World Cup”.
The FIFA World cup 2026 will be played from 11 June to 19 July .
