FIFA World Cup 2026: Italy , Denmark, Turkey, Sweden, Ukraine keeps their hopes alive, go for playoff
Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland have kept alive their hopes to be on parade at the FIFA 2026 Mondial .
16 teams will compete in the European draw, that are from 12 qualification group runners-up, including four additional teams that qualified via the Nations League. There will also be two inter-continental play-offs
In Europe playoff , eight semi-final matches will be played in March2026, next will be four subsequent finals to decide the team that would berth in Canada, Mexico and the USA .
The 16 teams in the European draw includes, Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Wales, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Republic of Ireland, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Romania, Sweden, North Macedonia and Northern Ireland.
