Shehu Dikko led NSC partners ICPC to fight corruption in Nigerian sports
The national Sports Commission, NSC has set up an internal mechanism to wage war against corrupt practices in the Nigerian sports sector.
The national sports governing body led by its chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko has partnered the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in the war against corruption in sports.
The duo bodies have officially inaugurated and inducted members of an Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) of the National Sports Commission (NSC).
NSC have officially confirmed the formal establishment of the Commission’s internal watchdog against corruption in line with ICPC’s statutory mandate to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
