Imo Striker Queens, Sunshine Queens to taste action in NWFL 2025/2026 season

Four women’s football club have gained promotion to be on parade in the NWFL Premiership league in the coming new season in the Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL.
The NWFL league in the coming new season will now feature Castmog Ladies, Ahudiyannem Queens ,Sunshine Queens and Imo Striker Queens
The women club sides had gained their tickets to the top league , after competing in the NWFL Championship promotion playoffs held in Abiriba and Umuahia, Abia state.
Chinedu Charles , Secretary, NWFL Premiership Media Directors Forum, in a statement issued said “To the other teams who were not able to achieve promotions to the NWFL Premiership this time around, we encourage them to remain focused, steadfast and continue to work hard as their efforts will surely payoff in the nearest future.
“We also extend a warm welcome to our dearest colleagues, the media personnel of the promoted clubs, to the forum.
“We wholeheartedly celebrate this remarkable milestone achieved by the foursome and wish them a fruitful stay in the NWFL Premiership.”
