Former Chelsea, Ivorian idol , Didier Drogba salutes Nigeria ‘s Super Falcons for wining 10th WAFCON title
Retired foremost African footballer, Didier Drogba has thumb up Nigeria’s women national team for their heroic achievement in winning their 10th Women African cup of nations title last Saturday in Morocco.
The Super Falcon did a dramatic come back from 2-0 down in the first half to upset the host, Atlas lioness of Morocco in the second half.
Reacting ,Didier Drogba , who is a household name in his hey days said “Nigeria Deserves the Victory, They Know This Trophy Well “The Nigerian women’s team is no stranger to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Winning it 10 times is no small feat — it takes consistency, dedication, and excellence.
“ I truly enjoy watching them play because they bring seriousness and passion to the game. Believe me, if the FIFA Women’s World Cup were to start today, Nigeria would be a strong contender. These ladies have truly mastered the game,” Drogba said .
