FIFA 2026 World Cup Will be great- Donald Trump

The president of the United States, Donald Trump has expressed the confidence that the forth coming 2026 FIFA World cup that would be hosted by the US and co hosts Mexico and Canada would be an a great event.
Trump on Tuesday speaking at the Saudi -US Investment forum 2025 held in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia reassured that the 2026 world cup would live up to its billings.
It would be recalled that the United States successfully led what was tagged the United 2026, also referred to as the North American 2026 bid, was a joint bid led by the United States Soccer Federation, Canadian Soccer Association and the Mexican Football Federation, to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Trump also expressed hopes that Saudi Arabia as the host of the 2034 FIFA world cup would present a great show to the world, commending the 2030 host nation for what he described as its well done job .
On 11 December 2024, FIFA confirmed that the 2030 World Cup will be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, Saudi Arabia was awarded the 2034 tournament , the decision was reached at the Extraordinary FIFA Congress meeting.
