Arsenal gets’ new sporting director
Andrea Berta have accepted the offer to take over as the new sporting director of Arsenal in the English Premier League. EPL.
The 53 years old accepted the offer even when there were major interests for his services from Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and other top clubs.
The Italian, would be joining Arsenal after spending 12 years with La Liga side, Atletico Madrid.
He is reported to be taking English classes preparatory to resuming in his new assignment at the Emirates stadium.
Edu has left his position as Arsenal sporting director last November to pave way for Berta, who is renown for his market strategies and successes in the football business world.
