Tragedy: Vipers SC, Nigerian born striker , Abubakar Lawal dies in Uganda
The Vipers Sports Club of Uganda’s Nigerian born forward Abubakar Lawal has passed away.
The 27-year-old centre forward is reported to have breath his last in motorcycle accident that occurred along Entebbe Road last Monday.
Lawal, born on September 3, 1995, joined Vipers in 2022.
Club sources were quoted saying that he made eight appearances in the Uganda Premier League, this season . referring to late Abubakar as a clinical finisher.
In his football career , Lawal was once on parade for AS Kigali in Rwanda , Nigerian sides , Nasarawa United and Wikki Tourists.
