Former  German midfielder Ozil Mesut has taken up politics as his new career.

Ozil had retired from football two season ago.

The former Germany Midfielder and World Cup winner has found a new career in politics.

Reports said he has pitched his tent with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s ruling party
