2025: World Athletics get’s set for a busy year
It’s the start of a new year and there are so many things to look forward to in the sport of athletics in 2025. World Athletics , WA has said.
WA said Four World Athletics Series events will take place in 2025 , kicking off with the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing in March.
It said for many athletes the road to Nanjing will include meetings on the World Indoor Tour, which starts this month.
“Then there’s the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou in May, before the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo and the World Athletics Road Running Championships in San Diego, both in September.
The global showpiece is the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 and the general ticket sale opens on 31 January.
Here are just 10 of the many things to look forward to in 2025.
