Saudi Arabian government throws doors open to foreign sports experts for employment

The Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has embarked on policy reforms to boost economic, social and cultural promotion and developments through sports, ministry official have disclosed.
“The government did a lot of reforms in terms of regulations. And we are receiving people from around the world to attend and establish themselves here. Saudi sports ministry said.
Abdallah Moghram, the International Communication Director at the Ministry of Sport in Saudi Arabia further said “While contributing to events and programs in terms of operation and other aspects. If we take, for example, the Saudi League, the target is to be one of the top five in the world by 2030.
Adding that “Our league today broadcasts through 45 TV channels in over 160 countries around the world.
Further in his words “I believe Saudi Arabia is on the move. I believe that what we are seeing every day is a new chapter. We are witnessing growth. We are seeing government initiatives daily. And people are excited. All these keep us energized as a society.
“During the past 10 years, the government provided a scholarship for over 150,000 Saudis to go abroad and learn from the best. When they come back, they want the same sporting offerings that they saw overseas. We believe that Vision 2030 is our blueprint. It is the roadmap for us. We are lucky to have many initiatives in place.
“For example, we have the Saudi Falcon Program, which is to train Saudi football players in Spain. Then they could participate in other football clubs in Europe. And this will enhance their capability and our culture. When they come back, it will be vital for the league here
Abdallah Moghram, said in terms of community participation in sport, the percentage was 13% and the target by 2030, in the context of their Vision 2030, must be no less than 40%.
He stated that two years ago, the country reached approximately 50% of the community that are actively participating in sport on a weekly basis.
