Afcon2025 qualifiers : Our second tie against Libya will be difficult- Ekong

Super Eagles captain, Williams Ekong has assert that the second leg tie against Mediterranean Knights of Libya in far away Libya would be a tough encounter .
Ekong speaking with sports writers in the aftermath of the Super Eagles slim 1-0 victory against Libya last Friday evening in Uyo, he declared that “it is going to be hostile .”
The Super Eagles captain said that last Friday’s game in Uyo has prepared their minds, on what to expect, when they travel to Libya for the next crucial encounter away to the Libyans.
He said “we know what is at stake, the game will be difficult, the crowd will be difficult, we will learn from our mistakes, we will be ready.”
Speaking on their chances of taking the Knights to the cleaners, he said “ we need to be more clinical, if we take our chances, we will force the Libyans to open up the game.”
Nigeria currently sits top of group D with 7 points from three matches, closely trailed by neighbors, Cheetahs of Benin republic with 6points from three matches.
Rwanda occupies third place with 2 points from three matches, while Libya is seated comfortably at the bottom of the log with 1 point from three matches.
