Permit me to inform you all that this edition of Sports Parliament will be a compendium of many issues, and those issues will all be tied to Global Sports developments generally in a conducive environment.

……… Welcome to Sports Parliament with Kdo .

The United States’s Vice President and Democratic Party’s Flag bearer for the Nov 2024 Presidential Election, Kamila Harris, floored Former president Donald Trump, in what could be the only Presidential Debate as the world waits for the outcome of the US presidential election in Nov 2024.

D day is Nov 6th, 2024, and it will not take “for ever before the result is announced “ .

The girl child in Hijab or not , will always see Vice president Kamila Harris as a role model to say, “ what a boy can do , girls can do”, not only in sports, but leading the world in many realms .

Kamila Harris stands set for another round of punches, and bating, but a weaving Trump is waving a “no mas “ wig of surrender.

Remember Sugar Ray and Roberto Duran ?

Another run for another run at the Sports Palindrome in due course.

While waiting, hear this.

A new soccer coach has just been hired for the USA Men’s soccer team – we hope that the new coach can bring back some of the bites the team may have lost lately.

And at the FIFA U-20 WWC 2024 : Japan vs Nigeria- fate decided,  and winners take all !

Japan -2  Nigeria – 1 , was the outcome in Bogota , Colombia  , at the Under 20 Female Fifa World Cup. Thus, the Nigerian team like the other African reps, are bagging home , failing to floor their opponents fully as Kamila did Donald .

Let the Africans return to the drawing boards, and look beyond traveling espressos and allowances .  Painful,  just as our team Nigeria returned home empty handed without any olympics posters aside food, sex, sight seeing and allowances .

I hear that the 2024/25 Nigerian Professional League Season just kicked off , and some teams got a good start with away wins without bloodied noses , referees are not bashed, bloodied, and roped to stupor.

Good start one is tempted to say, and only hopes that the trend lasts through the entire length of the season where no kolokolo and magomago thrive .

And those on burrowed time in the nation’s football should be prepared to wind down ,and do the needful, and stop pacing with fake legs with no firm grips .

Fingers crossed , and tips sealed for now .

Sad that my good friend , and kind brother , galloping Dom Iorfa, has been told to rest and step aside  by the powers that be in Makurdi .

I think Dom should have been allowed to finish the job in style. Either one likes it or not, Dom knows how to work football , and get results.

He knows his onions when it comes to football and all good and efficient football guys know that .

He has made Lobi Stars , just as the club has made him.

Cool off , Dom, better days are ahead for you.

Dom, hear this , and will also translate “Ìjàpá kò lè rìn, àmọ́ ó lè fi ọgbọ́n inú rẹ̀ sáré.

Translation- The tortoise may struggle to walk, but its wisdom empowers it to run with remarkable agility.

Dom remains the dean of Middle Belt Developmental Football, and the nation as well.

Captain Sunday Abe surely played well for Sunshine Stars from nowhere to somewhere respectable and rewarding. He signed off from the Akure team days ago, and don’t be surprised to the fast thinking midfielder cum defender return as backroom staff soon .

A role he’s eminently qualified for.

Abe, thank you , and bravo for your unalloyed service to Sunshine Stars Fc , and the Nigeria as a national team reliable player .

One hopes and prays that Africa will floor the world at the United Nations by the turn of the year when two African countries would have been officially recognized as Permanent members of the United nations Security Council.

Moribund or not, let two African countries join the Elitist UN’s Security Council, where veto powers sometimes cripple humanitarian runs , and make our voices soundly heard , and maybe, just maybe , a new and or another ravaged Sudan will not surface again.

The world will be happy for a Kamala victory, and Africans and non white will see her victory as an opportunity for more rooms in many realms, including money spinning Sports that shall grow, and fester with a trusted world leader than a near criminal,  who is full of hate, laced with lies , and deceptive frame of ideas about immigrants.

Finally, on this train, glad that our Super Eagles was not floored at least, but managed to put smiles on the faces of Nigeria with a victory in Uyo and a goalless draw in Rwanda.

Thanks to the Interim Coach and players who have elected to click for hope,  instead of watch – and – drop mantra lately each time the Eagles play.

Therefore, let the NFF start doing somethings- retain the current coach , or find a quick thinking foreign coach , pump the current squad with more active players, not bench warmers, look deeply in the local league – quick , before the nation goes into another permutation modes around qualifications for major tournaments including, Fifa World Cup in the Americas,  2025 Afcon and more, and pray that Nigeria can floor the world gain with its 1994 brand of enterprising and attacking football .
