Nigerian football coaches organize tourney in honour of  former  National officer , late Danlami Usman Akawu

Football coaches under the aegis pf Nigeria Football Coaches Association. NFCA has staged a football tournament in honour of   former Raccah Rovers  ace Danlami Usman a.k.a Akawu.

Akawu  until his demise was  NFCA deputy national training officer.

The deceased was pioneer officer of NFCA in Kano state, north west Nigeria.

The public relations officer, NFCA Kano, Jabir Hassan said “the competition  was organized by  Nigerian Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Kano state chapter in honor of their former member and chairman, until his death he was the deputy national training officer of NCFA.

“ he was also a CAF A license holder Coach Danlami Usman a.k.a Akawu died in February 2021.

“The association under the leadership of Malam Ibrahim Gwadabe wishes to thank all football stakeholders in Kano for their support commitment and dedication especially SWAN Kano State Chapter in promoting grassroots football across the state.
