IOC reject calls to ban Israel from 2024 Olympic games . As France deploys 45, 000 police personel

The president of the International Olympic Committee, IOC, Thomas Bach has confirmed the rejection of the request for the ban of Israel from the Paris 2024 Olympic games.
Bach has insisted that the Olympic body is neutral and would not be dragged into political issues.
Palestinians had request IOC to barred Israel from taking part at the Paris Olympic games, Bach said Israel and Palestinian athletes will be taking part in the games.
He assured of his confidence in the French government to provide adequate security for athletes and their accompanying officials .
In a related development, the French government has deployed 45 , 000 police officers to provide security for the games.
Official sources disclosed that, 1000 military personel have also been deployed to provide security cover at the games.
The host nation, further has deployed security technology, erected barricades at strategic places and other scrutiny measures put in place to ensure the provision of adequate security for athletes, officials and tourist , who are visiting Paris , during the games.
