Macron is the new Concacaf sports equipment and apparel partner

Macron and Concacaf have agreed to six-year partnership with Italian sportswear brand becoming the official sports equipment and apparel partner for all Concacaf national team and club competitions

Macron will provide extensive support to Concacaf referees as part of confederation-wide agreement running 2024-2030

The renowned sportswear brand Macron, which has partnerships across a range of global sports, and Concacaf, the Confederation for football in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, have announced a long-term partnership that will include Macron becoming the official sports equipment and apparel partner to Concacaf for the next six and a half years.

The agreement, which covers all of Concacaf’s men’s national team, women’s national team, under-20 and under-17 and club competitions, is Macron’s first confederation-wide partnership with a FIFA confederation and will provide the Italy based international sports equipment brand with significant visibility in the Concacaf region during a time at which the sport is expected to grow tremendously.

The new partnership builds on Macron’s recent commitment to become Concacaf’s “Match Officials Kit Supplier”, also through 2030, meaning the confederation has the consistency of one brand covering all its equipment and apparel requirements across competitions and refereeing in the coming years.

Concacaf has a range of exciting tournaments taking place in 2024 and 2025, including the men’s 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup for clubs, which includes the very best of MLS, Liga MX and clubs from Central America and the Caribbean, the new women’s 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup, which is delivering compelling NWSL vs Liga MX Femenil rivalries, and highlighting the growth of clubs in Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica, and next summer’s men’s Concacaf Gold Cup, which will be hosted in the USA and Canada and will be the last official tournament for men’s national teams in the region before the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Gold Cup is Concacaf’s flagship tournament and next summer’s event will be hosted in 14 cities, including in five FIFA World Cup 2026 venues.

This new prestigious partnership is another example of Macron’s leadership in international sports – the company already has an extensive range of equipment and apparel partnerships with Serie A clubs (Bologna, Udinese), Premier League clubs (Crystal Palace), La Liga clubs (Real Sociedad, Osasuna) and several clubs across Ligue 1 (France), the Scottish Premiership and the Eredivisie. Within the Concacaf region, Macron is a key partner of the Canadian Premier League, supplying kit and equipment to all its clubs. Outside of football (soccer), Macron is a major force in rugby union as the official kit and equipment provider to the Italian, Welsh and Scottish rugby federations and to Rugby Canada.

This new partnership was announced during a visit to the Macron Campus by Victor Montagliani, Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President. Gianluca Pavanello, Macron’s CEO and host for the occasion, and Montagliani, both praised the partnership and expressed a shared commitment to supporting the rapid growth of football (soccer) in North America, which will receive a further boost from the many Concacaf tournaments taking place over the next two years leading towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in three Concacaf territories: Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President, Victor Montagliani: “We are very pleased to agree to this confederation-wide partnership with Macron, a company and brand increasingly known for its high quality and its growing and impressive reach in international sports. Our agreement covers all Concacaf national team and club competitions for many years ahead, during a pivotal time for the growth of Concacaf and of football in our wonderful region.”

“I must also thank Macron for the tremendous levels of support they will be providing for our Concacaf referees as part of this important new partnership,” added Montagliani.

Gianluca Pavanello, Macron’s CEO stated “The visit and presence of Concacaf’s president Victor Montagliani at the Macron Campus has allowed us to announce the extension of this prestigious partnership and to take pride in showing him the place where all our products are conceived and developed, and where our commitment and passion bears fruit. Our values have allowed us to grow in the United States and throughout North America, where we now supply top-quality technical teamwear and sportswear lines with elegant, exclusive designs. Consolidating and extending our presence on the North American market is one of our key objectives, and agreements like that with Concacaf demonstrate that we are moving in the right direction.”

The Macron and Concacaf partnership was announced on October 1, 2024, during a formal event at the Macron HQ in Bologna, Italy attended by Concacaf President, Victor Montagliani, Macron CEO Gianluca Pavanello and delegations from both organizations.
