Bayelsa United 3-0 Shooting Stars
Bayelsa extended their unbeaten run to 7 matches, boosting their survival hopes. Goals from Ogba Ifeanyi, Magbisa Wisdom, and Kehinde Lawal sealed the win.
In-Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu
Rangers Int’l 0-2 Heartland FC
Heartland shocked Rangers in the Oriental Derby with goals from S. Lawal and I. Nasir, ending a six-game winless streak.
In-Lafia Township Stadium, Lafia
Nasarawa United 3-2 Plateau United
Anas Yusuf scored a brace to reach 15 goals this season, as Nasarawa edged Plateau in a five-goal thriller. The players were rewarded with ₦3.5m for the vital win.
In-Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano
Kano Pillars 2-0 Lobi Stars
Goals from Ahmed Musa and Naziru Sarki (penalty) condemned Lobi Stars to relegation, ending their 27-year run in the NPFL — the third-longest in league history.
In-Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode
Sunshine Stars 2-1 Enyimba FC
Despite the win, Sunshine remains 19th. Enyimba’s title hopes are now dimmed, dropping key points on the road.
In-Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia
Abia Warriors 2-0 Rivers United
Abia Warriors continued their fine form with goals from Ogbuagu and Ijoma, climbing to the top three place on the log.
In-Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne
Remo Stars 0-0 Katsina United
Remo were held at home for the second time this season, but they still sit seven points clear at the top with five matches to go.
Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo
Akwa United 1-1 El-Kanemi Warriors
An own goal by Wisdom Ndon canceled out Kabir Osoba’s opener. Akwa’s survival battle remains tight.
In-Ilorin Township Stadium, Ilorin
Kwara United 0-1 Bendel Insurance
Kayode Oke scored the only goal as Bendel claimed the three points away from home.
Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos
Ikorodu City 3-0 Niger Tornadoes
Coach Nurudeen Aweroro’s men became the first club to cross the 50-goal mark this season. Ikorodu’s blistering form continues.
