FISU trials: North West university put up high class performance , set to storm Germany
Athletes from debuting Northwest West University Kano has shone brilliantly at the FISU trial held at the University of Jos.
The school athletes competed in two events namely , Taekwondo and Judo.
The event was held in preparations for the 2025 Federation of International Universities Sports in Germany.
The ivory tower recorded 1 Gold medal and 1 Bronze medal in Taekwondo and 1 Silver medal and 2 Bronze medals in Judo
The performance by the university has been described as a promising debut
Ahmad Surajo, head of sports directorate of the school , said “ Our impressive performance has earned us a
potential spot to represent Nigeria in international sports in Germany, pending an official invitation.
